ContextCards is a language learning tool that utilizes Spaced Repetition Systems (SRS) to help users memorize vocabulary. We provide features such as flashcard generation, scheduling, and progress tracking.

3. Subscriptions and Payments

ContextCards offers paid subscription plans ("Premium"). By subscribing, you agree to the following:

• Payment Processors: Payments are processed via third-party providers: Stripe (for web) and RevenueCat (acting as an interface for Apple App Store and Google Play Store for mobile). We do not store your credit card information directly.
• Auto-Renewal: Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing cycle unless canceled at least 24 hours prior to the renewal date.
• Cancellation: You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings (for web) or your device's App Store/Google Play subscription settings (for mobile). Your access will continue until the end of the current billing period.
• Refunds: All payments are non-refundable, except where required by law.

4. User Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account. We reserve the right to terminate accounts that violate these terms.

5. User Generated Content

You retain ownership of the decks and cards you create. By using the Service, you grant us a license to store, display, and reproduce your content solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you.

6. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.

In no event shall ContextCards be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of your use of the Service.

• Transaction Data: If you purchase a subscription, our payment processors (Stripe/RevenueCat) collect billing information. We do not store raw credit card details on our servers; we only store subscription status and transaction IDs.
• Usage & Analytics Data: We use analytics tools to understand how visitors interact with our website. This includes anonymous data such as pages visited, session duration, and device type.
• Content: We store the vocabulary terms, definitions, and sentences you generate or import.

We use your data to:

• Provide, maintain, and secure the Service.
• Process payments and manage subscriptions.
• Calculate optimal review schedules using the FSRS algorithm.
• Analyze trends and user behavior to improve the application experience.

Your data is stored securely using Supabase. We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your information. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure.

We utilize the following third-party services to operate ContextCards. These parties have their own privacy policies governing the use of your data:

• Supabase: Database hosting and authentication.
• Gemini: Text and audio generation for cards.
• Stripe: Payment processing for web subscriptions.
• RevenueCat: Subscription infrastructure for mobile apps.
• Vercel Analytics: Web analytics and performance monitoring.

5. Your Rights

You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data. You can delete your account at any time through the application settings, which will permanently remove your data from our servers.
